Mark Shrimpton

Mark is the newest member of the "Dedicated" team, and brings with him over 30 years of training expertise both in Australia and Internationally.

He has had a variety of roles working as a Teacher, Adventure Instructor/Coach, Training & Development Course Director, TAFE lecturer, Hospitality Manager, Management Consultant, and International Business Director and owner.

He has conducted numerous development-training programs for apprentices, shop floor, supervisors, and senior management teams for both government departments, and small / medium sized and multi-national companies in Australia, Canada, China, Great Britain, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.

As a facilitator Mark’s style is participative and supportive. He is skilled at drawing out the learning that is useful to the participant, whether it be in relation to personal growth, communication skills, problem solving, teamwork, leadership, or managing change.

Mark's area of expertise is in analysing corporate organisational culture and reading the personal and group needs and issues, and then co-creating with clients a training plan that results in effective and productive workplace change. This approach has led to improving the performance of organisations and work teams and enhancing the job satisfaction and performance of individuals across diverse industries with many satisfied clients. His passion involves working with businesses and individuals to reach their full potential, including facilitating programs in the workplace, conference venues, and in wilderness areas.

Mark also has an extensive ‘outdoor-skills’ an adventure training background, with instructional qualifications developed over 20 years working professionally in the experiential training industry internationally.
